The participant:

  • Has in-depth knowledge of specific safety aspects and test procedures for handling hydrogen.
  • Can apply and safely carry out in accordance with standardized requirements (process instructions, work instructions, operating instructions, instruction).
  • Attains level 3 to carry out specified activities on gas-carrying systems.
  • Functionality of the gas system.
  • Legal basis for work on vehicles with gas drives as well as test benches and laboratories with gas systems.
  • Gas markings, test and approval numbers.
  • Connection techniques, requirements and safe assembly.
  • Assembly, testing and repair work on gas systems.
  • Application of gas measuring instruments.
  • Emptying, inertization and filling of gas systems. Implementation of defined activities with consideration of occupational safety and process development.
  • Basic principles and measures for explosion protection.
  • Fundamentals of visual, leak and functional testing of the gas system.
  • Fundamentals of gas system troubleshooting.
  • Sources of danger, characteristics of hazards during work on gas systems.
  • Protective measures when working on gas systems.
  • Behavior in case of danger.
  • Partners carrying out activities defined on H2 vehicles.

  • Technical vocational training or completed technical course.
